Experience the ultimate safari as you stay on the luxurious newest yacht on the Red Sea - M/Y HERMES that serves as your floating home throughout the journey. The liveaboard yacht is equipped with everything you need, including a kitchen, living room, and three decks (one with a bar, TV, audio system, and Starlink for continuous WiFi connectivity). The vessel is fully staffed with a dedicated crew of 12 members, including chefs, assistants, and other personnel. Additionally, our experienced team consists of kite guides, instructors, and beach staff, ensuring that every aspect of your kite safari is expertly taken care of. M/Y HERMES is named after ancient Greek mythology which has been considered a soul guide for travelers. That's why with us you can expect the best adventure on the Red Sea with a garage full of toys and the opportunity to enjoy being above or under the water. Newly launched in March 2023, M/Y Hermes is the most exciting yacht on the Red Sea, built to create a sensation.

ITINERARY

The itinerary is flexible and adaptable to the sea, wind conditions, and other factors. The program may be subject to change depending on the week and specific conditions that prevail at the time of the trip, however, you can look forward to visiting most of the spots.

Day 1: Saturday Arrival and check-in
  • Arrival at Hurghada International Airport
  • Transfer to the yacht that is located in Sheraton Marina Hurghada, approximately 10 minutes away from the airport
  • Check-in on the liveaboard, meet the crew and fellow passengers
  • Welcome dinner, briefing on safety, boat facilities, and trip itinerary
  • Settle into cabins and prepare kite gear, and overnight stay on the yacht
Day 2: Sunday - Geisum Island
  • Early morning cruising to Geisum Island
  • Breakfast
  • Afternoon kite session
  • Dinner
  • Beach bonfire and dancing under the stars
Day 3: Monday - South Geisum
  • Early morning cruising to South Geisum where the boat will dock and stay overnight
  • Breakfast
  • Morning kite session

Day 4: Tuesday - Goubal Island (New Year's Party)

WHAT TO PACK WITH YOU?
Here is what you should bring with you on a liveaboard trip:
  • Swimmwear
  • Lycra / rashguard
  • UV sunblock (water resistance)
  • Sunglasses
  • Hoodie (light for the summer evenings, heavy for the winter)
  • Offline playlist that you can connect with Bluetooth to our portable speaker onboard
  • Personal medicine. If guests are using any kind of medicine, it is their responsibility to bring this with them during the trip. We only have a small selection of medicine on board in case of an emergency
  • Duty free wine or spirits if you have any favourites
  • Good vibes
For kitesurfing:
  • At least two kite sizes and if possible even a third size as the winds can change
  • At least one kiteboard (we recommend a twin-tip, but also a surfboard or hydrofoil is a good choice)
  • Wetsuit (shorty in summer and 5/4mm steamer in winter)
BOOKING POLICY

To secure your spot on our kite safari, we require the full amount to be paid at the time of the booking. This policy is in place due to the limited availability of spots and high demand for our unique kite safari experience. Please note that additional services such as kite courses or rental can be paid by cash. We look forward to welcome you onboard.
